Prasath Nanayakkara

Prasath Nanayakkara has extensive experience in various leadership roles in the technology sector. Prasath is the Chairman and CEO of 1 Billion Tech, a company that provides cloud solutions. Prasath also holds the same positions at MillionSpaces, a marketplace for unique event spaces. Prior to these roles, Prasath worked at Virtusa, where they served as the Global Head of Enterprise Automation and led a significant business transformation initiative. Prasath also held positions as the Global Head of Resource Management and Operations, Head of Delivery and Technical Operations, Head of Process and Quality, and Head of eBusiness Integration Unit. Before joining Virtusa, Prasath worked as a Senior Consultant at Cambridge Technology Partners and a Senior Engineer at Kenan Systems.

Prasath Nanayakkara holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed from 1988 to 1993. Prasath also obtained a GCE A/L in Mathematics from Royal College Colombo from 1979 to 1986. Later, in 2010 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) for Executives at INSEAD. In addition, they obtained the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2021.
