Volker Bartenbach

Volker Bartenbach has held a variety of roles throughout their career. Volker began in 2003 as a Civilian Service at Klinikum Rechts Der Isar. In 2004, they were an Intern at Schneider Electric. From 2007 to 2010, they were a Student Research Assistant at Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT). In 2009, they were an Intern at KUKA Robotics. From 2012 to 2017, they were a PhD Student at ETH Zurich. During this time, they were also a Founder at Beyond Robotics GmbH. In 2017, they became a Pioneer & Bridge Fellow at ETH Zurich. Most recently, in 2019, they became Co-Founder & CEO at Auxivo AG.

Volker Bartenbach obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from ETH Zürich in 2017, specializing in Robotic Exoskeletons. Volker also holds an Engineer's Degree from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), which they obtained between 2004 and 2010, and specialized in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
