Jeremy Getz

Jeremy Getz is a seasoned lighting professional with extensive experience in the audio/visual industry. Since May 2011, Jeremy has served as the Director of Lighting Services at AVChicago, managing lighting operations for over 3,000 events annually and ensuring a perfect match of equipment and expertise to meet client visions. Prior to this role, Jeremy worked as a Lighting Designer at Getz Lights, Freelance, and Collaboraction, where responsibilities included creating unique lighting experiences for events, fashion shows, and theatrical productions. Notably, Jeremy was also the Resident Lighting Designer for Albany Park Theater Company, contributing to an award-winning youth theater program. Educationally, Jeremy holds a degree from The Theater School at DePaul University.
