Andrew Furlani, CCNA, CTS, DMC-D-4K, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the audiovisual industry. Andrew started their career as an Audio Mastering Engineer at icanremasterthat in 2008 and later joined AKITA SOUND TEAM 秋田音 in 2010. At AKITA SOUND TEAM, they worked as an Audio Mastering Engineer until June 2021.
In 2016, Andrew became the Owner of Akita Audio Visual NYC, where they specialized in designing and integrating audiovisual systems for conference rooms. Andrew also founded Akita Evolve 3D, a Brooklyn-based 3D printing production house, in 2018. As the CEO and Engineer, Andrew focused on designing and fabricating unique repair parts for the A/V industry, classic arcade games, and amateur radio.
Andrew also worked as a Senior Audio Visual Specialist at Medidata Solutions from November 2016 to October 2018. In this role, they managed A/V projects, provided design consulting services, and supported Medidata's global offices.
Andrew then joined FIRST as an A/V Systems Engineer at Google NYC from September 2018 to January 2019. At FIRST, Andrew was responsible for engineering A/V systems.
From January 2019 to January 2021, Andrew worked as an Audio Visual Design Engineer and Solutions Architect at Yotta Connect. Andrew was involved in designing and implementing audiovisual solutions.
Andrew'smost recent positions include working at A-V Services, Inc. as an Audio Visual Design Engineer and Solutions Architect starting from July 2021, and at HojoWorks and HojoWorks 3D as CEO and Engineer and 3D Printing Engineer, respectively, starting from November 2022.
Andrew Furlani, CCNA, CTS, DMC-D-4K attended SAE Institute North America from 2009 to receive a degree in Audio Technology, specializing in Audio Engineering and Electronic Music Production. In addition to their degree, Andrew has obtained numerous certifications throughout their career. In 2018, they became a Certified Technology Specialist and obtained Dante Certification Level 1 from Audinate. Andrew also received the Recognized AV Technologist certification from AVIXA and earned the DMC-D-4K certification from Crestron Electronics. In 2019, Andrew completed Autodesk Inventor 2020 Essential Training and Autodesk Inventor: Product Design Workflow. Andrew further expanded their skills in 2020 with Biamp TesiraSERVER/SERVER-IO certification. Andrew's certifications continued in 2021, including OSHA 30-Hr Outreach Training for the Construction Industry from the University of South Florida, Authorized Operator Powder Actuated Tools from ITW Ramset, Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from Aveta Business Institute, Qualified Operator Of Gas-Actuated Tools and Qualified Operator Of Powder-Actuated Tools from Hilti Group. Additionally, they completed Course Training on Emerging respiratory viruses, including COVID-19 from the World Health Organization.
