Alan Siebuhr

Alan Mitchell Siebuhr has extensive experience in energy supply analysis and public utilities regulation. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst in Energy Supply at Ava Community Energy since May 2022, Siebuhr previously held positions at the California Public Utilities Commission from August 2019 to May 2022, advancing from Public Utilities Regulatory Analyst I to II. Earlier experience includes the role of CivicSpark Climate Fellow at Moreno Valley Utility, where Siebuhr calculated solar power distribution and cost impacts and a consulting position with the Coachella Valley Association of Governments focusing on greenhouse gas emissions reduction. Siebuhr holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Economics and Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently an exchange student at the University of Auckland, with an Associate of Arts from College of the Desert.
