Jovica Popovic

Jovica Popovic is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in web and mobile application development, as well as software architecture. Currently serving as a Web3 Solutions Architect at Ava Labs since November 2020, Jovica is responsible for onboarding projects to Avalanche Subnets and designing architectural solutions while addressing performance and scaling challenges. Previously, as a Developer Evangelist at Ava Labs, Jovica communicated the value of the Avalanche platform to builders and stakeholders. Earlier roles include Head of Engineering and Head of Mobile Apps at minus5 Ltd., overseeing development teams and application architecture, respectively. Jovica also held CTO positions at 32 bita and Geanium, focusing on the production of educational games and innovative software solutions. With a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Zagreb, Jovica's background reflects a commitment to engineering excellence and technological advancement.
