Lee Schneider

Lee Schneider is the current General Counsel at Ava Labs. Prior to this, they were a Partner and Head of FinTech and Broker-Dealer at McDermott Will & Emery. Lee has also held positions at Genesis Block, Debevoise & Plimpton, and Convergex. At BNY Mellon, they served as both Senior and Managing Counsel.

Lee Schneider has spent their career in various legal and compliance positions. Lee has experience with financial services regulatory issues, corporate and transactional work, litigations, and regulatory interface. Lee has also sat on an Executive Committee. Their experience makes him well-qualified to be the General Counsel at Ava Labs.

Lee Schneider attended the University of Michigan for their undergraduate degree, where they studied economics. Lee then went on to attend American University Washington College of Law, where they received their Doctor of Law (JD) degree in law.
