Vignesh Shanbhag

Vignesh Shanbhag has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vignesh started their career as a Software Engineer at Persistent Systems in 2007, where they built monitoring solutions and developed a monetization platform for social games. Vignesh then joined Idyllic Software in 2010 as a Lead Developer and was responsible for project planning and execution, improving efficiency, and bridging communication gaps between clients and development teams.

In 2014, Vignesh pursued their passion for scuba diving and teaching as a Dive Instructor at Barracuda Diving India. Vignesh taught SSI Open Water and various Specialty Dive Courses and guided experienced divers.

Vignesh joined Avaamo in 2015 and held various roles during their tenure. Vignesh initially served as a Principal Developer, where they developed the Avaamo Enterprise Messaging and Conversational AI platform and collaborated closely with clients to build and deploy conversational solutions. Vignesh then became a Conversational AI Engineer, developing intelligent virtual assistants for various industries and designing intuitive conversational workflows. Vignesh subsequently became the Lead Conversational AI Architect, leading the Avaamo Professional Services team, training internal and client teams on conversational AI best practices, and streamlining hiring and induction processes. In their most recent role at Avaamo, they worked as a Product Manager, improving technical pre-sales efficiency, demonstrating product capabilities to clients, and running voice pilot campaigns using Avaamo Voice technology.

Vignesh Shanbhag attended Smt. Parvatibai Chowgule College from 2001 to 2003, where they obtained a High School degree in Science. Vignesh then enrolled at Goa University from 2003 to 2007 and completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Vignesh also pursued additional certifications including the Basic Mountaineering Course from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute in India and the SSI Open Water Instructor certification from Scuba Schools International.
