Kate Segal has a vast background in advocacy and program management within various organizations, including AVAC, Human Rights Watch, and the Center for Health and Gender Equity. Kate has also worked in research and policy analysis roles related to sexual and reproductive health and rights. Kate has a strong educational background, holding a Master of Arts in International Affairs from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Portuguese from Tulane University.

AVAC works to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of HIV prevention tools as part of a comprehensive and integrated response to the epidemic. Through education, policy analysis, advocacy and a network of global collaborations, we mobilize and support efforts to: * DELIVER proven HIV prevention tools for immediate impact. * DEMONSTRATE and roll out new HIV prevention options. * DEVELOP long-term solutions needed to end the epidemic.
