Zhenqi Wang

Zhenqi Wang is an accomplished engineer specializing in grid operation, currently employed at Avacon Netz GmbH since June 2022, focusing on HV grid operational planning and innovative improvements in grid management. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the University of Kassel from October 2018 to May 2022, where Zhenqi applied High-Performance Computing and AI technology in grid operations and developed the pandapower simulation tool. Zhenqi also contributed to projects at Fraunhofer IEE, enhancing energy systems through customer collaboration and leading research on cognitive energy systems. Early research experience includes work at Brandenburgische Technische Universität Cottbus-Senftenberg, involving board design and programming for charging controllers.
