Ross Douma

Ross Douma has a diverse work experience in education and athletics. Ross is currently the President at Avail Academy, a position they started in 2023. Before that, they worked at Dordt University from 2009 to 2023, where they served as the Director of Athletics and the Head Men's Basketball Coach. Prior to that, they were a Teacher and Athletic Coach at Waukee Community School District from 2006 to 2009. From 2001 to 2006, they were an Administrator and Athletic Coach at Southwest Chicago Christian Schools. And from 1995 to 2001, they worked as a Teacher and Athletic Coach at Hartley Melvin Sanborn CSD.

Ross Douma has completed an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of South Dakota. Additionally, they have earned an Ed.S. in Educational Leadership and Administration from the same institution. Douma holds a Master of Education (MEd) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Governors State University.
