Saleem Malik has a strong background in quality assurance and testing, particularly in the US healthcare domain. Saleem has over 8 years of experience as a testing professional, with 4+ years specifically in US healthcare and working with healthcare data such as 835/837, HL7, ORM, ADT, etc. Saleem has extensive experience in API testing, utilizing the BDD framework and REST API. Saleem has taken ownership of project automation activities, including merging code, sending packages for review and deployment, and addressing code review comments. Saleem also has experience in continuous integration and continuous delivery frameworks, as well as using JIRA and Testrail for defect tracking and project management. Saleem is knowledgeable in various SDLC models, STLC, and defect life cycle. Additionally, Saleem has experience in database validations using SQL commands and has worked on test case and test scenario documentation, including participating in peer reviews. Prior to their role at Availity, Saleem worked as a Software Test Engineer at Kclink Technologies Pvt Ltd, where they focused on analyzing functional requirement specifications, testing e-commerce applications, and executing test cases using QC 10.

Saleem Malik completed their education at various institutions. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Sri Shakthi Institute of Engineering and Technology, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology. In 2008, they also attended Jaycee Matriculation School for their Higher Secondary education, focusing on Computer Science. Prior to that, in 2006, they attended Bharathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School and obtained their SSLC qualification. Additionally, Saleem obtained certifications such as ISTQB® Certified from the Indian Testing Board and Certified Software Test Professional (CSTP) from STC Technologies.
