Ankit Baingane

Ankit Baingane, PhD, is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in medical technology and research. Currently serving as a Senior System Electrical Engineer at Avails Medical, Inc. since July 2021, Ankit previously held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, focusing on the development of a pediatric artificial ECMO system. Prior research roles include Graduate Research Assistant at the Frank Reidy Research Centre For Bioelectronics, where Ankit specialized in wireless glucose monitoring sensors, and a Research Scientist position at T Labs, concentrating on early-stage cancer detection. Ankit also contributed to numerous research projects related to bio-implantable sensors and temperature monitoring systems. Ankit earned a PhD in Computer Engineering from Old Dominion University and holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. The educational foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Telecommunication from Rashtrasanta Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
