Bob Knox has over 20 years of experience working in finance and leadership roles.
Bob began their career at Artisoft, where they served as the Manager of Investor Relations and Financial Planning from 1992 to 1996.
In 1996, they joined Intel Corp, starting as a Senior Financial Analyst. Bob then worked their way up to become a Finance Manager and eventually a Senior Finance Manager, spending a total of 12 years at the company from 1996 to 2008.
Following their time at Intel Corp, Bob joined First Solar as the Director of Global Manufacturing Finance from 2008 to 2012. Bob played a significant role in managing a worldwide cost of sales and inventory planning, budgeting, and reporting as well as supporting the company's rapid growth.
After that, they worked as the Director of Finance at Fox Television for a year, overseeing financial functions, budgeting, and preparing financial reports.
In 2013, Bob joined Cytec as the Director of Finance for Aerospace Materials. Bob led a team of finance professionals, developing financial assessments for strategic decisions and worked closely with different departments to win long-term supply contracts. Bob stayed with the company until it was acquired by Solvay in 2016.
Currently, Bob is serving as the Chief Financial Officer at AvAir since 2016.
Bob Knox completed their education at various institutions. Bob began their academic journey at UCLA from 1983 to 1984, where they focused on the field of study in Mathematics. Subsequently, from 1984 to 1986, they resided in Korea as a foreign resident, engaging in religious studies related to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Returning to the United States, Bob attended Brigham Young University from 1986 to 1988, focusing on Mathematics. Bob then enrolled at Arizona State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from 1988 to 1990. Continuing their education at the same institution, Bob pursued an MBA with a specialization in Finance from 1990 to 1992.
