Avalanche Energy
Samantha Valenteen is an experienced experimental physicist currently working at Avalanche Energy since May 2023. Prior to this role, Samantha served as a technical project manager at ParentsTogether Foundation from June 2020 to May 2023, and worked as a systems engineer at DMC Engineering between March 2018 and November 2019. Earlier experience includes multiple research assistant positions at the Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy, collaborating with prominent researchers on projects related to astrophysical spectra and cleanroom environments for rocket instruments. Additionally, Samantha has interned at the Center for Experimental Nuclear Physics and Astrophysics, contributing to the Axion Dark Matter eXperiment. Academic accomplishments include a Master's degree in Physics from the University of Washington, expected in August 2024, and a Bachelor’s degree in Astrophysical and Planetary Sciences from the University of Colorado Boulder.
