Jayme Fishman

Jayme Fishman is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate strategy, product development, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as Chief Strategy and Product Officer at Avalara since August 2020, Jayme leads overall corporate and product strategy, focusing on high-growth business units and indirect tax offerings. Previously, Jayme held roles including EVP/GM of Indirect Tax and EVP of Corporate Development at Avalara, overseeing growth and acquisition strategies. As a co-founder of The Unofficial Syndicate and an advisory board member for the MIT FinTech@CSAIL initiative, Jayme is involved in fostering innovation in financial technology. Additional leadership experience includes serving as President of the Software Division at Ryan and CEO of Second Decimal, a technology firm that improved corporate tax processes. Jayme’s academic background includes a Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University and a B.S. in Business from Northeastern University.
