Jimmy Nguyen

Jimmy Nguyen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and management. Currently serving as Manager and Technical Lead at Avalara since November 2019, Jimmy oversees three teams within the AvaTax for Communications department. Previously, at Allscripts, Jimmy held the role of Senior Software Engineer, leading a team as scrum master to deliver quarterly features. With a strong foundation in .NET development from positions with Atlantic BT and CareAnyware, Jimmy also contributed to non-profit governance as a Board Member for Sustain Foundation. An alumnus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Jimmy holds a BSIS in Information Science and Computer Science.
