Kristina Maultsby

Kristina Maultsby is a seasoned UX professional with extensive experience in leading design teams and enhancing user experiences. Currently serving as a Principal UX Writer at Avalara since October 2022, Maultsby previously held the position of Director of UI/UX at Acoustic, where leadership of a 14-member international design team focused on innovative design and cost-saving improvements in the design system. Maultsby's career at IBM spanned nearly nine years, culminating in the role of Senior Manager for Content Design & UX Research, overseeing a diverse team of 20 in the development of comprehensive product-related content. Maultsby's educational background includes a BA in English from North Carolina State University, completed in 2008.
