Pervez Goiporia is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in engineering and product development across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Avalara since March 2022, Pervez has previously held leadership roles such as Head of Engineering at 1Pay and Chief Technology Officer & Product Head at SEQURETEK, where Pervez built and launched enterprise security products. Prior experience includes VP Engineering roles at Oracle, leading a large R&D team in Security and Identity Management, and serving as Chief Architect & Security Practice Lead at Mphasis, managing critical projects and engaging with major clients. Early career experiences at IBM and Tata Unisys laid a strong foundation in IT architecture and systems engineering. Pervez holds a BE in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai.
