Ross Tennenbaum

Ross Tennenbaum serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Avalara since March 2019, after holding the position of Executive Vice President of the Strategic Initiatives group. Prior to Avalara, Ross worked at Goldman Sachs as a Managing Director in Software Investment Banking from September 2014 to March 2019, where responsibilities included overseeing software industry coverage and executing various financial transactions. Ross's experience also includes a position at Credit Suisse as Vice President of Software Investment Banking and Associate in Technology/Software Investment Banking, contributing significantly to M&A advisory and capital market transactions. Ross began a professional career at VIACK Corporation, advancing from Financial Analyst to Chief of Staff of Strategic Planning and Business Development Operations. Ross holds an M.B.A. in Finance and Venture Capital from The Wharton School and a Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Florida.
