Hayley Butler

Hayley Butler is a highly experienced Senior Medical Writer currently employed at Avalere Health since October 2023. Prior to this role, Hayley served as a Senior Medical Writer at Fishawack Health from February 2021 to October 2023, and also held the position of Medical Writer there. Previous experience includes serving as Principal Scientist DMPK at both Sygnature Discovery from November 2018 to January 2021 and Redx Pharma from July 2012 to November 2018. Early in Hayley's career, roles included DMPK Design Leader and Senior DMPK Scientist at AstraZeneca R&D from April 2007 to July 2012, and a Post-doctoral research associate at The University of Manchester from July 2004 to March 2007, focusing on the prediction of in vivo metabolic drug-drug interactions and human clearance. Hayley holds a PhD in Pharmacy from The University of Manchester (2000 - 2004) and a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Pharmacology from The University of Liverpool (1997 - 2000).
