Tammy Cancilla

Tammy Cancilla is an accomplished Senior Textile Designer at Avalon Apparel since March 2019, previously serving as the Head Textile Designer at Mimi Chica from 2013 to March 2019, where extensive original textile designs were created for the Junior market, sold to major retailers such as Nordstrom and Urban Outfitters. Prior experience includes roles as a Designer at Star Fabrics (2005-2012) and a Print Stylist at Jade Textiles (1995-2005). Tammy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fiber, Textile, and Weaving Arts from Syracuse University, with additional education from Santa Monica College and UCLA Extension.
