Lauren Macklis

Lauren Macklis is Vice President of Network Business Development and Retail Solutions at Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC). HCSC is the largest customer owned-health insurer in the United States, operating Blue Cross Blue Shield in Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. Lauren oversees Value-Based Care Payment Operations, Provider Partnerships, Provider Payment Innovation, and Analytics, as well as Retail Solutions (Individual U65).

Prior to her current role, Lauren was Vice President Divisional Strategy and Analytics, where Lauren developed a line of business strategy and investment portfolio for Government and Consumer Solutions and led the Government Programs Business Execution teams, as well as the Individual Markets data and analytics team.

Before joining HCSC in 2011, Lauren led strategic planning and business development teams at Rush University Medical Center, a large academic medical center and health sciences university. While at Rush, Lauren implemented several initiatives for the medical center including a multi-hospital telemedicine network, off-site clinics, and practice affiliations.
