Aleksandar Filipov

Aleksandar Filipov is a seasoned Software Architect for the Avaloq Wealth Platform, with extensive experience in defining product maturity initiatives and hands-on design and development of functional designs since July 2015. Previously, Aleksandar served as a Senior Java Software Engineer, where responsibilities included splitting monolith services and implementing a querying infrastructure. With experience across various methodologies, including Agile and KANBAN, Aleksandar has developed business-oriented features and contributed to microservices and large-scale systems in the financial domain. Aleksandar's technical expertise encompasses Java, Spring Boot, Openshift, Docker, Kubernetes, and PL/SQL. Notable achievements include award-winning hackathon projects and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Newcastle University.
