Reto Tobler

Reto Tobler's work experience includes diverse roles in various companies. Reto currently serves as the Head of Cloud Architecture at Avaloq, focusing on private and public cloud infrastructure, automation, and virtualization of the Avaloq Financial Cloud. Prior to this, they led the Strategic Change & Transformation Cloud Technology team at Avaloq, where they concentrated on automation and virtualization of their financial cloud. Reto also worked at Credit Suisse, where they played a key role in establishing a public cloud strategy, monitoring and evaluating cloud pilot projects, and driving digitalization of business operations and software development processes. Reto'searlier experiences include project management, software development, and team leadership roles at AXA winterthur, ADS Anker, and Carrosserie Remund AG.

Reto Tobler holds an Executive MBA HSG in Business Engineering from the University of St. Gallen, which they completed in 2019. In 2009, they attended IMD for the Credit Suisse SITT Program, specializing in Strategic IT-Training. From 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Banking at Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland. Reto'seducational background also includes a certification as a Certified Business Data Processing Specialist from WISS Zurich in 2001. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma in Business Management from Gewerbeschulen Bern in 1996 and a Commercial Diploma from Dr. Rischik Schulen Bern in 1994. Reto Tobler began their education in 1986, earning a Federal Specialist Certificate in Automotive Body Maker from Gewerbeschulen Bern. Furthermore, they have obtained additional certifications such as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services in 2022 and the Professional Scrum Master (PSM1) from Scrum.org in December 2015.
