Tim Hards

Tim Hards is a Senior Software Engineer at Avaloq since February 2022, with a robust background in software engineering, particularly in the development and management of IBM Rational DOORS. Prior to Avaloq, Tim worked as a Persistent Senior Software Engineer at Persistent Systems from June 2016 to December 2021, contributing significantly to the development team for DOORS Next. Tim's experience includes a tenure at IBM from October 2008 to May 2016 as a Java Software Engineer, focusing on maintaining and enhancing DOORS. Additionally, Tim co-founded Visual Exemplars Ltd, where as Chief Software Architect from 2002 to 2008, developed a 3D PowerPoint add-in named Perspector. Tim's career began at Telelogic UK Ltd, where as a Senior Software Engineer from October 1997 to October 2001, key contributions were made to DOORS using C and C++. Tim holds an MSc in Computer Science from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Warwick.
