Tobias Peter

Tobias Peter has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Tobias started their career as an employee at SQS - Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems in 1994 and worked there until 1999. In 1999, they joined ReConcept Wirtschaftsberatung as a consultant. In the year 2000, they joined Ernst & Young AG as a Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer/Senior Manager and worked there until 2015. During their time at Ernst & Young AG, they also had a brief stint as a Senior in 2004. In 2015, they joined Avaloq as the Head of Finance and the Head of Group Planning and Consolidation. In 2017, they assumed the role of Head of Group Accounting and Consolidation at Avaloq.

Tobias Peter attended the Wirtschaftsmittelschule Bern (WMB) from 1990 to 1993. Tobias then went on to study at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Verwaltung (HSW) from 1997 to 2000, where they obtained a degree in Betriebsökonom FH with a concentration in Banking and Finance. In 2002, Tobias attended the Akademie für Wirtschaftsprüfung, earning a Dipl. Wirtschaftsprüfer degree from 2002 to 2004. Finally, in 2008 to 2009, Tobias studied at the Controller Akademie, focusing on becoming an IFRS Accountant.
