Deepthi Nair PMP

Deepthi Nair PMP has over 14 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry. Deepthi began their career in 2006 as a Data Management Consultant at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth). During their time there, they also held the roles of Scientific Programmer and Graduate Research Assistant - School of Biomedical Informatics. In 2008, they served as an Intern at Methodist Health System. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Seattle Children's as a Supervisor- Clinical data management, Immunotherapy and Senior Data Analyst. In 2020, they joined Avalyn Pharma Inc. as Associate Director, Data operations. Throughout their career, Deepthi has been responsible for providing strategic, organizational, operational management and guidance to the Clinical Data Management group, managing and overseeing Data Management staff and vendors, determining optimum staffing and staffing models, recruiting and hiring, training and mentoring, and conducting performance management for data management staff. Deepthi has also been responsible for estimates/budgets/financial projections, managing billing/invoices for all data management activities, leading clinical data manager for Immunotherapy Trials, and consulting to investigators and research teams on clinical data management in multiple therapeutic areas.

Deepthi Nair PMP holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science and Engineering from Kannur University, India. Deepthi then went on to obtain an MS in Health Informatics from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). In 2018-2019, they completed a Certificate in The Executive Leadership Coaching Program from Seattle Childrens Hospital. In August 2021, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
