Lorenzo Lavia

Lorenzo Lavia possesses extensive experience in data science, having held key roles at Avanade since January 2021, including Senior Data Scientist and Data Science Manager. Lorenzo has led the development of machine learning models and data-driven dashboards, notably contributing to a national healthcare program through in-depth data analysis and reporting. Prior to Avanade, Lorenzo served as a Junior Data Scientist at Altius, where significant achievements included implementing a price optimization model for a global cargo operator and developing sophisticated computer vision models. Earlier experience also includes a research assistantship at the University of Surrey and shadowing the Data Analytics team at RAPP. Lorenzo holds a Master's degree in Physics with Nuclear Astrophysics from the University of Surrey.
