Ali Waqar Tariq

Ali Waqar Tariq has extensive experience in project planning, control, and management across various engineering firms. Currently serving as Regional Manager for Planning, Project Control, and Value Creation at Avanceon Middle East & South Asia since April 2018, Ali oversees schedule preparation, resource optimization, subcontractor management, and project quality assurance for the MENA region. Previous roles include Planning & Control Engineer at Al Hassan Engineering Company, where responsibilities involved planning and monitoring project activities, and Planning and Control Engineer at Descon Engineering, focusing on project execution, budget analysis, and subcontractor evaluation. Early career experience includes a Maintenance Engineer position at Orient Group of Companies. Ali holds a Diploma in Claims Preparation and Dispute Management from the College of Contract Management, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Air University.
