Mika Anttila

Mika Anttila is an experienced professional in technical analysis and intellectual property rights, currently serving as Vice President of Technical Analysis at Avanci since August 2025. Prior to this role, Mika held the same position at Marconi from February 2020 to August 2025, contributing to independent licensing platforms for advanced technologies. Mika's extensive background includes a tenure at Nokia Technologies from July 2007 to January 2020, where responsibilities included leading teams in technical analysis related to Standard Essential Patents (SEPs) and non-SEPs, as well as selecting patents for licensing negotiations. Earlier roles include Director of Standards IPR at Nokia and Senior IPR Consultant at Borenius&Co Oy Ab. Mika holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering from Tampere University and a Master of Science in Telecommunications from Tampere University of Technology.
