Jose Luis Gutierrez

Jose Luis Gutierrez is the Managing Director of Investment & Business Performance at Avangrid Renewables. Jose has over 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.

Jose Luis started their career in 2009 as a Business Performance Senior Analyst at Iberdrola Renovables. In this role, they were responsible for follow-up and coordination of the day-to-day business from an aggregate perspective, as well as providing information and analysis to the Board of Directors for decision-making. Jose also participated in the definition of the long-term vision and positioning of the company, and in Corporate M&A operations (partnering and divestments).

In September 2017, Jose Luis joined Avangrid Renewables as Managing Director - Investment Analysis & Business Performance. In this role, they are responsible for leading the Avangrid Renewables Investment and Business Performance Office.

Jose Luis Gutierrez attended the IESE Business School - University of Navarra for a special undergrad program and earned their Licenciado en Administración y Dirección de Empresas (bilingüe) from Universidad de Navarra. Jose is currently a Level II CFA Candidate through the CFA Institute.
