Elizabeth Kane

Elizabeth Kane has a diverse work experience in the field of biostatistics. Elizabeth is currently the Director of Biostatistics at Avania, a contract research organization specializing in the management of clinical studies for medical devices and biologics. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Analytical Services at Avania. Before joining Avania, Elizabeth worked as a Senior Manager of Biostatistics at Factory-CRO Group and Boston Biomedical Associates. Elizabeth also gained experience as a Senior Biostatistician at Boston Biomedical Associates. Earlier in their career, Elizabeth worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where they focused on analyzing epidemiological data and carrying out statistical programming using SAS and STATA. Elizabeth also worked as a Co-Instructor at Boston University and a Programmer/Analyst at Massachusetts General Hospital, where they collaborated on cardiovascular research projects and analyzed biomarker data. Throughout their career, Elizabeth has demonstrated their ability to analyze complex data, manage projects, and contribute to the advancement of medical technology.

Elizabeth Kane earned their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Hartwick College from 2002 to 2006. Elizabeth then pursued a Master's degree in Statistics from the University of Rhode Island from 2006 to 2008. Following that, Elizabeth completed their education by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biostatistics from Boston University between 2011 and 2016.
