Michelle Michela

Michelle Michela has extensive work experience in the field of clinical research and consulting services. Michelle currently holds the position of Principal Consultant at Avania, a contract research organization specializing in the management of clinical studies for medical devices, IVDs, biologics, and device-drug combination products. Prior to joining Avania in 2020, Michelle worked at Boston Biomedical Associates for over 20 years. Michelle served as a Group Leader, Consulting Services from 2013 to 2020 and as a Principal Consultant from 2000 to 2013. Michelle started their career in 1987 at Boston Scientific, where they worked in DMC Management for over 13 years.

Michelle Michela earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Rochester, attending from 1981 to 1985. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physiology at Georgetown University from 1985 to 1987.
