Samuel Engelman

Samuel Engelman is currently the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Avania, where they focus on U.S. and international regulatory submissions for medical devices. They have extensive experience in regulatory affairs, including their previous roles as Senior Manager and Manager of Digital Health Regulatory Affairs at MCRA, where they specialized in Software as a Medical Device and artificial intelligence. Samuel has also worked as a Regulatory Affairs Consultant at Eli Lilly and has contributed significantly to submissions and compliance in various international markets during their tenure at Cook Medical. They hold degrees in Global Economics and Chinese Language and Culture and have a background in establishing community projects as a former Peace Corps volunteer.
