Chip Zimliki

As Senior Vice President, Regulatory & Clinical Affairs, Chip Zimliki leads Avanos’ regulatory strategy, ensuring that safe and effective products are developed and marketed in compliance with domestic and international regulations and company policies.

Chip joined Avanos in 2022 with 20 years of regulatory experience, specializing in global regulatory, quality and clinical system strategy. Prior to Avanos, he served as Chief Regulatory Officer at Embecta, leading the global strategic plan to spin off the BD Diabetes Care business, where he had served as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. He also held leadership roles at Optiscan Biomedical Corp, Medtronic Diabetes and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration.

Chip has a bachelor’s degree in engineering science and mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a PhD in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
