Francesca Rossetto

Francesca Rossetto is an experienced professional in the medical device industry, currently serving as the Sr. Manager of Global R&D, NPD at Avanos Medical since 2020, where leadership is provided to the Acute Pain New Product Development R&D Team. Prior to this role, Francesca founded Rossetto Consulting from 2014 to 2018, offering expertise in technical and procedural aspects of medical devices. At Covidien, from 2005 to 2013, managerial responsibilities in R&D included leading customer needs assessments for new surgical platforms and spearheading projects in microwave ablation. Early career experience as a Project Engineer at Vivant Medical involved the creation and optimization of microwave ablation antennas. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from Universita' degli Studi di Firenze, post-doctoral training at the University of California, San Francisco, and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
