Shawnna van Pelt

Shawnna Van Pelt is an accomplished professional in human resources and labor relations with extensive experience in the medical technology and consumer goods sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of Global Human Resources & Labor Relations at Avanos Medical since 2014, Shawnna has played a strategic role in supporting the executive team since the company's spin-off from Kimberly-Clark. Prior to this, significant contributions were made at Kimberly-Clark from 2001 to 2014 in various HR leadership roles, including directing HR strategy for multi-billion dollar business units. Additionally, initial career experience includes labor relations management at Bridgestone, where Shawnna administered labor contract compliance and contributed to the startup of a new manufacturing facility. Shawnna holds a Master of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Psychology/Sociology from Wesleyan College.
