Vijaylakshami R. Iyer

Ms. Vijayalakshmi R. Iyer is a former member (Finance & Investment) of IRDAI and Chairperson & Managing Director (CMD) of the Bank of India (BOI) with nearly four decades of service and contributions to the Indian financial sector. In her role as CMD, Ms. Iyer revamped BOI as a Financial Supermarket offering all kinds of banking and financial services under one umbrella. Given her efforts, she was honored with the best PSU Bank Award (BOI) for overall growth in performance by Dun & Bradstreet and second Most Trusted Brand among PSU Banks by Economic Times. Ms. Iyer has also served as Executive Director of the Central Bank of India. She has been conferred the Golden Peacock Excellence Award for best HR practices at Central Bank.
