Armando Almeida

Armando is a Founder, Board Member and Investor in a number of companies. He is a C-level executive with 30+ years of international experience in the Communications and IT industries. Armando has vast knowledge and experience across Business and Consumer customer segments and has participated in various mergers and acquisitions. Previously he was CEO of Portugal Telecom and a member of the Executive Board of Nokia Siemens Networks where he served as Executive Vice President (EVP) of Europe & Africa Cluster, and EVP of Global Services. Prior to this, he was VP for the Latin America region. He has also worked in the IT industry in Hewlett Packard and Compaq Computers. Armando has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa).
