Senior Artist Lead at Avant Arte

Sachiko Osawa has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Sachiko is currently employed as a Senior Production Operations Manager at Avant Arte since February 2022. Prior to this, they founded and served as the Creative Director of YAMI-ICHI, an international art project that explores the non-monetary value of art. Sachiko'swork at FreeState involved experience direction, business management, and project management, where they collaborated with city-shapers to design innovative commercial, cultural, education, and transport spaces. Sachiko also gained experience as an intern at Designersblock, where they assisted in planning and coordination of design shows, curated exhibitions, and designed an exhibition catalogue. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Program Officer at the Association for Corporate Support of the Arts and as an Account Manager at Procter & Gamble.

Sachiko Osawa pursued their education at the University of the Arts London from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master's degree in Narrative Environment. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, they attended the International Christian University and completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis.
