Avant Assessment
Misun Choe is an experienced educator with a focus on Korean language instruction and cultural education. Currently serving as a Teacher at the Korean American Center, Misun Choe contributes to the welfare of Korean American residents by providing professional educational services. Additional roles include content and item writing for Korean language at Avant Assessment and instructing Korean at the San Jose Learning Center for adult learners. Misun Choe has held positions as a Target Language Expert and Reviewer at the National Foreign Language Center, contributing to the development of language learning materials and assessments. Previous experience includes lecturing at the Korean Cultural Center in Los Angeles and serving as an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Southern California. Misun Choe holds an Ed.D. in Educational Psychology, a Master's in Higher and Postsecondary Education, and a Bachelor's in English Education from Kyung Hee University in South Korea, alongside further studies in East Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Southern California.
