Chris Armsey

Chris Armsey is currently the Senior Vice President of People at Avant. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief Talent Officer and Head of Communications at Avant from February 2016 to December 2019. During their time at Avant, they oversaw all talent functions including recruiting, on-boarding, talent development, engagement, employee relations, performance management, succession planning, compensation, benefits, employee communications, and culture. Chris also led public relations and communications for Avant and Amount as they split the companies.

Chris has over 15 years of experience in human resources and has held various positions at Motorola Solutions from April 2006 to January 2016 including Senior Director of Global Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for leading the global human resources team and developing strategies that supported the company’s business objectives.

Chris is a strategic and innovative thinker who has been able to successfully navigate through complex organizational challenges. Chris is a strong advocate for employees and is passionate about building high-performing teams.

Chris Armsey has a BS in Marketing from Miami University and an MA in Industrial Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
