Fangjian K. Lin

Fangjian K. Lin is a highly experienced professional in the field of materials science and engineering, currently serving as the Head of R&D QD Film at Avantama AG since January 2018. This role involves overseeing development projects focused on quantum dot (QD) film stability and includes the management of a team dedicated to research and development for display applications. With a solid background that includes a PhD from ETH Zürich and a Master’s from the University of Alberta, Fangjian has published several articles and holds over ten international patents. Previous positions include co-founding a med-tech start-up, working as a researcher at the University of Zurich, and conducting innovative research at PSI & ETH Zurich. Fangjian possesses extensive expertise in polymer-based composite materials, inorganic synthesis, and advanced analytical techniques.
