Christian Grob

Christian Grob is an experienced professional in the field of IT security and risk management, currently serving as the Head of Security Services and a member of the Executive Board at AVANTEC since July 2022. Prior to this role, Christian held numerous positions at UBS Card Center AG from August 2015 to July 2022, including Head of IT Security & Risk and Director, alongside overseeing data protection and application security initiatives. Christian's earlier career includes a role as a Risk and Security Consultant at ISPIN AG from 2013 to 2015, and a contract teaching position in IT security at Schweizerische Technische Fachschule Winterthur during the same period. Christian began at AVANTEC AG as a Senior Security Engineer from 2009 to 2013, and has extensive experience from Hotz + Koch AG as a Systems Engineer from 2002 to 2009. Educational qualifications include a Master of Advanced Studies in Information Systems Management from the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW, along with certifications as an eidg. Dipl. IT Services Engineer and Informatiker EFZ from TBZ Technische Berufsschule Zürich.
