Jordon Wang has a diverse and extensive work experience in the biotechnology and venture capital industries. Jordon'smost recent role was as the Chief Operating Officer & SVP of Technology Development at AVANTGEN, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at LakePharma, Inc., including Vice President of Technology Development from July 2020 to June 2023, Vice President of Antibody Discovery from May 2018 to June 2023, Director of Cell Biology from April 2016 to May 2018, and Scientific Manager of Molecular Engineering from February 2014 to April 2016.

Before joining LakePharma, Jordon worked at Crown Bioscience, Inc. as an Associate Director of In Vitro Pharmacology from April 2010 to July 2013. In this role, they led research collaboration activities and expanded the in vitro pharmacology team.

Jordon also has experience in venture capital, having interned at The Angels' Forum from 2008 to 2009. Jordon pre-screened business plans, prepared entrepreneurs for partnership meetings, and represented the company at entrepreneurial events.

Early in their career, Jordon worked as a Business Analyst and Consulting Intern at Liknon, where they assisted clients with strategic business development initiatives. Jordon also conducted high-level business planning efforts for two start-up opportunities.

Jordon began their professional journey as a Life Science Technician and Undergraduate Research Assistant at Stanford University School of Medicine from 2001 to 2004. Jordon also interned at Life Technologies in 2001.

Throughout their career, Jordon has demonstrated a strong expertise in technology development, antibody discovery, cell biology, in vitro pharmacology, and venture capital.

Jordon Wang has a well-established educational background. From 1996 to 2000, they attended Phillips Exeter Academy for their high school education, but did not obtain any specific degree or field of study during that time. Continuing their education, they joined Stanford University from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biological Sciences. Moving forward, Jordon Wang enrolled at the Stanford University School of Medicine from 2004 to 2009, earning their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cancer Biology.
