Sarah Lloyd

Sarah Lloyd is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel & Company Secretary at Avanti Finance, alongside roles as Acting Chief Risk Officer and Senior Legal Counsel since July 2023. Additionally, Sarah is a General Committee Member at ILANZ: In-house Lawyers Association of New Zealand since May 2024. Previously, Sarah held the position of Senior Legal Counsel at humm group from August 2019 to July 2023, managing legal, operational risk, and compliance matters across consumer and commercial finance. Prior experience includes a Senior Solicitor role at Russell McVeagh in the Restructuring and Insolvency team from July 2018 to August 2019 and nearly eight years at Simpson Western Lawyers, starting as a summer clerk and advancing to Senior Solicitor with a focus on civil litigation and commercial dispute resolution. Education includes attendance at Carmel College and The University of Auckland.
