Kunguma Sharmila

Kunguma Sharmila has over 14 years of work experience in the financial services industry. Kunguma started their career in 2007 as an Assistant Manager Internal Audit at HSBC Bank. In 2008, they moved to HSBC Private Banking in the same role. In 2011, they joined Janalakshmi Financial Services as AVP-Fraud Risk Management and Senior Manager Internal Audit. In 2016, they were appointed as Vice President and Head of Internal Audit and Risk Management at Kinara Capital. In 2018, they became Vice President Operational Risk Management at Jana Small Finance Bank. In 2020, they were appointed as Chief Risk Officer at Spandana Sphoorty Financial Limited. Currently, they are working as Chief Audit Officer at Avanti - Financial Inclusion For 100 Million.

Kunguma Sharmila obtained their MBA in Economics from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies between 2008 and 2010.
