Wesley Knobel

Wesley Knobel has a diverse work experience in the banking and legal sectors. Wesley currently holds the position of VP of Custody at Custodia Bank, a role they started in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Silvergate Bank as the Director of Operations (Digital Asset Custody), where they played a key role in developing the operational infrastructure for the bank's stablecoin launch and oversaw operations for Bitcoin collateralized lending, stablecoin projects, and digital asset custody offerings. Before joining Silvergate Bank, Wesley worked at Seacoast Commerce Bank in various roles, including Director of Administration, Administrative Officer, Accounting Manager, and Financial Analyst. During their time at Seacoast Commerce Bank, they participated in Compliance and IT Steering Committees, served as a project manager for several acquisitions and technology initiatives, and performed financial analysis and reporting tasks. Wesley's early career experience includes working as an Accountant at Shabani Law Offices, where they handled financial tasks such as forming new entities, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing bank account reconciliation and cash flow.

Wesley Knobel obtained a Graduate Level Certificate in the Business of Banking from the Pacific Coast Banking School from 2017 to 2019. Wesley also earned a Leadership Certificate - PCBS from the University of Washington - Michael G. Foster School of Business during the same period. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, Wesley attended the University of California, Riverside, where they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, with a minor in Economics.
