Lisa Connell

Lisa Connell has extensive work experience in various roles at Avanti Polar Lipids, Inc. Lisa started their career at Avanti in October 2005 as a Chromatography Technician and Packaging Technician. Lisa then worked as a Quality Control Analyst and Custom Packaging Specialist from July 2006 to December 2009. After that, Lisa served as a Quality Control Lab Manager and later as a Quality Control Supervisor from January 2010 to September 2012. Lisa then transitioned to the role of a Customer Support Specialist from October 2012 to July 2015. Lisa's next position was as the Director of the Analytical Division from August 2015 to June 2016. Lisa then took on the role of Production Manager in the Lipidomics Division from July 2016 to January 2021. Lisa briefly served as the Director of the Lipidomics Division in January 2021 before assuming their current position as the Head of Avanti Quality Control. Prior to their time at Avanti, Lisa worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Jacksonville State University from August 2003 to August 2005.

Lisa Connell holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General with a minor in Business Administration from Jacksonville State University. Lisa furthered their education at the same university, obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology. Currently, Lisa is pursuing an Executive MBA degree at the University of North Alabama. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt, Yellow Belt, and White Belt from the Aveta Business Institute in 2020.
